Another Chemist’s Day is already behind us.
Our feast was traditionally opened with a football tournament of PCC Rokita capital group employees.
As in every year, the cup became a subject of great interest. There was a great audience and a deal of competition. The awards founded by the Management Board of PCC Rokita included cups, diplomas and sports footwear for all tournament participants. The 1st place was taken by Labmatic, 2nd - by the corporate rescue service, and the 3rd - by the PCT company who have made a debut in the history of our competitions. The President invited all the players to a New Year Cup which is to be held in January 2012.
At the same time, bridge players were enjoying their tournament in the conference hall of KHS Rokita. This event was attended by 12 participants. The winner was Waldemar Wcisło, followed by Zdzisław Kowal and Marek Rużyło on second and third place, respectively. Prizes for the players were founded by PCC Rokita.
This year is the 65th anniversary of PCC Rokita SA activity. On this occasion we have invited the residents of Brzeg Dolny to take part in the contest entitled: "Rokita of those years...". During the celebration of the Chemist’s Day it was possible to take a look at an exhibition prepared with materials and souvenirs gathered in the course of the competition. The awards, vouchers worth PLN 500.00, were handed over by Mr. Zbigniew Skorupa, Director of the Management Board Office of PCC Rokita SA.
Thanks to the fantastic weather, we have spent an enjoyable afternoon and evening with our family members, friends and colleagues.
The audience could listen to the performance of ‘Rytmy Planety’ band from Brzeg Dolny, a gipsy band ‘Terno’ and a disco band ‘Top One’.
As a feature of the evening, a well-known pop singer Urszula presented her greatest hits. There were also attractions for children, such as clowns, stilt-walkers, a fun fair and air castles.

On Sunday, during a parish feast, the final stage of the ‘Our Talent’ contest was held, organised by the ‘Kurier Gmin’ newspaper. As one of the final participants, the jury chose Alan Urbański for his origami works. As the main prize, PCC ROKITA SA founded a laptop.
The next Chemist’s Day is just one year ahead!
